Union Jazz Band

Union Congregational Church, 176 Cooper Avenue, Montclair

The members of Union Jazz Band, Rob Middleton, Eric Olsen, Ratzo Harris, and Tim Horner, will present a concert of original jazz compositions and jazz hymn arrangements. Join the band and sing your favorite hymns in a jazz style! Hymns will include Morning Has Broken, Abide with Me, All Things Bright and Beautiful, Joyful, Joyful, We Adore you, and many others! All proceeds from this concert will go toward purchasing new robes for the Sanctuary Choir. Freewill Donation.

Rhapsody in New with Eric Olsen

Eric Olsen, critically acclaimed jazz and classical pianist, presents his unique tribute to the music of George Gershwin. An expert in musical transfiguration, Eric will premiere a specially arranged jazz version of Gershwin’s signature piano work, retitled Rhapsody in New, with the incomparable jazz bassist Ratzo B. Harris. Eric will be joined by two exceptional crossover vocalists, soprano Pamela Olsen and tenor Richard Gillyard, featuring the best loved songs and duets from the George and Ira Gershwin songbook, including But Not For Me, Summertime, Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off, and much more! RAA Members: $20 General Admission :$25 Children Under 18: $5

DYAD Play Jazz Arias

DYAD, the incomparable jazz duo of Lou Caimano on alto saxophone and Eric Olsen on piano, is back by popular demand, playing their innovative jazz versions of operatic favorites!
